Practicing traditional chiropractic treatment, Dr. Forrest performs chiropractic adjustments accompanied by physical therapeutic modalities at each visit to maximize the healing process.
Dr. Forrest does not offer standard treatment programs. He feels that since each patient is different, treatment should be rendered accordingly. Some patients may have their conditions resolved after one or two treatments, while other may require several weeks of treatment. His patients are made aware of any warning signs in their bodies, enabling them to present themselves for treatment and prevent worsening of their conditions at those points in time. As a result, there is no "lifelong" care requiring countless visits for treatment as other chiropractors may lead their patients to believe. However, Dr. Forrest does believe in getting periodic “tune ups” as a preventive measure.
The foundation of Forrest Chiropractic is a family practice. Dr. Forrest, or Dr. Alan, as he is affectionately known, enjoys his family practice and is now treating the second and third generation of his original patients. Having three children of his own, he also is well qualified to treat your children as well. Our children are incurring more injuries, particularly from carrying heavy backpacks and spending a great deal of time on the computer. Dr. Forrest has a firm commitment to our youth.
After graduating UCLA in 1977 with a degree in Biology, Dr. Forrest graduated in the top ten of his class from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1980. He set up practice in the Reseda/Tarzana area, where he remains with no plans of leaving the community.
